- today on the drive to work, i was bothered because there was something very different, then i realized all the mountains surrounding our city were not there anymore, well they are still there of course, but they were shrouded in a thick veil of smoke, all of them, it was very eerie, and we can thank the brush fires of that shithole of a state Arizona for it.

- i got to work and stayed for about an hour and a half then went home.

- after getting home i sat around for most of the day, started writing a letter KHD. read. now i am sitting here bored out of my skull.

- practice was good yesterday, we got some writing done. it sounds good so far.

I saw 'KA' last night with Jared at the MGM, what a piece of crap that was.

i love Neil Diamond, as a man, and as a songwriter, and i am not ashamed.

i dont care how fashionable you think you are, a mullet is a fucking mullet, people!

- I put in an intense 25 minutes on the clock today and then went home, i only have 8 hours next week.

- i want to start a second band. whos into that idea.

the show was terrible. my amp crackled, buzzed and died. we only got to play two songs. im not sure if it was genuine or sympathy, but alot of people liked it, that was the only thing that kept me from shooting myself. im mad.

- my amp is broken, my beautiful amp. i hope whatever is wrong with it is covered under the warranty.

- we had practice tonight for our show tomorrow, we played one song then stood around and stared at each other for a half hour...we need some help.

- speaking of that show, please go, it's at the Aristocrat and everyone is going to talk over us, itll be terrible we need some support. we go on at 11pm.

- i am glad to say i have picked up reading again, have been spending less time on this machine, recently i picked up a very old copy of 'James Joyce's Letters' and Dead Poet Books, so far it's pretty interesting, it makes me want to read Ulysses but i am scared of it. i still have Crime and Punishment and Swann's Way to get through.

- i have 4 days off. i bet you i still wont get anything done.

- there is flute on the new Pelican CD. that is cool.

- Dinosaur Jr is coming. I never thought i would see them, original line up too!

- i swear i had something to say when i decided to update. i guess i dont really.

- we are beginning to plan the trip to Europe at the end of the year, we want a few people to go, so if you want to go on a fun trip to Ireland, England and Italy please tell me. no maybes or id like to's, only if you definatley intend on going.

- it's that time of the month when i hate music, nothing is going the way i want it to, i hate hate hate it.

- i have to go to sleep now.

- i got a full night of sleep last night, finally. it felt good but i had some bad dreams concerning Arabs cutting my head from my body.

- no work or practice today, we only practiced once this week, and once last week i think, i am bummed about that. i think we need to barricade ourselves into the practice space for a few days, we are not getting anything done. i hope we are ready to record something before the summer is out.

- my teeth hurt.


- i am really bad at blogging!

the only good thing about being stuck in a rut, is you know exactley wear you are.

i have a cell phone now im depressed.
